Pultrusion — The Heart of Composite Insulator Manufacturing
The pultrusion process continuously pulls glass fiber rovings through a resin bath, then through a heated die where the composite cures into a solid rod. The quality of the pultruded core rod — fiber wet-out, void content, and cure degree — fundamentally determines the composite insulator's mechanical and electrical performance.
